What a China sourcing agent does
A China sourcing agent works on your behalf inside China. It finds the factory that makes the product you want, checks the supplier is real, negotiates the price, inspects the goods before they ship and arranges delivery to you or to your customers. Bulk orders and the honest answer on minimums
Sourcing one unit and sourcing a thousand is the same job at a different scale, so we quote both. Plenty of suppliers advertise a low minimum and then quote a thousand units once you ask a real question. Here is how it actually works.
- Dropshipping has no minimum. One unit is fine, and that never changes.
- A small first batch is normal. Most sellers buy a modest quantity to hold with us before they commit to a full production run.
- Factory minimums depend on the product. A stock item can often be bought in small quantities. Anything the factory has to set up for carries a higher one.
- Custom moulds or a genuinely new product need larger runs. Tooling has a real cost and it has to be spread across units.
We will always give you the real number. If a product needs a bigger run than you are comfortable with, we say so and suggest what to change instead. Usually the packaging first and the product second.
Buying from 1688, Taobao and Alibaba
The cheapest prices in China are usually on the domestic platforms, and those platforms are built for buyers inside China. They expect a Chinese account, a Chinese address and a Chinese payment method, and most suppliers will not ship abroad at all.
Send us the link instead. We buy the goods, have them delivered to our warehouse, inspect them, combine orders from several suppliers into one shipment and send it on to you or to your customers. You do not need an account on any Chinese platform.
Where your goods can go
We ship single orders to customers and bulk shipments to your warehouse, your 3PL or Amazon. Transit times after dispatch are 3 to 8 days to the UK and Europe, 5 to 8 days to the United States and 6 to 10 days to Australia and Canada. Preparation time before dispatch depends on whether the product is in stock with us or still has to be collected from the factory, and we tell you that when we quote.

Yes, and we recommend it. Start with a sample, then dropship the product one order at a time with no minimum. Once it sells consistently, move it to a bulk run. You keep the same agent and the same factory the whole way through, so the bulk units are the same product you were selling.
Where can you send a bulk order?
To your own address, to your warehouse or 3PL, or to Amazon FBA. We arrange production with the factory, inspect and pack the goods in bulk and ship the consignment on. Stock can also stay in our warehouse and ship out order by order, with no storage fee and no time limit.
Can you source any product, or only pet products?
We source any product category. Pet products are our specialty because we know the failure points, but the same process works for home, kitchen, baby, outdoor and general consumer goods.
Can you buy from 1688, Taobao or Alibaba for me?
Yes. You do not need a Chinese account, a Chinese phone number or a Chinese payment card. Send the link and we buy, inspect and consolidate the goods at our own warehouse, then ship them on to you or straight to your customers.
Do I get proof that quality was checked?
